Cameroon Fish Roll

Cameroon Fish Roll

Fish pies are a popular West African street food. You will typically find these in Nigeria, Ghana, and in Cameroon where it is popularly known as “Fish Roll”. This version of the popular party snack is made with spiced shredded fried fish (usually Mackerel) or spiced mashed sardines rolled up in a lightly sweetened short pastry. They are typically served in large gatherings such as weddings and other celebrations that bring large numbers of people. They are hugely tasty, and crunchy on the outside. They are in the main savoury, but with a slightly sweet and spicy taste.

Whilst you can make these at home or purchase from artisanal vendors, you are not guaranteed what quality you are receiving. Layyah’s Foods has perfected its recipe through a meticulous product design process, so you always get a consistently superior quality and safe product.
